Cherry Tomatoes

My daughter’s (4) comment, when I finished the painting: “Your paintings are getting better and better, mom. This one is much better than the previous ones. So. May we eat them now?” My kids eat cherry tomatoes like candy, and they had both been hovering above my still life arrangement, drooling, while I painted.
